About Us

Maple Street Catering was started by Bethany Lewis and Clay Vagnini in 2003 on Maple Street in Woodstock, VT. They relocated to 2196 Christian Street after purchasing a home. After outgrowing the house they moved a second time, to Maple Ave in White River Junction, where Big Fatty’s was born. Clay and Bethany compiled recipes. Clay, from Key West grew up cooking Southern BBQ and Bethany had been in the area’s restaurants cooking and serving delicious food  since she can remember. They started as a small mom and pop business and as their reputation grew, they needed more space. Applying to be on the Dartmouth Campus’ list for choice caterers was a very large boost for the company. They expanded once again and brought in Bethany’s son Brandon Fox as the General Manager.
In 2008 Maple Street Catering had the honor of participating in the Democratic Convention in Hanover, NH across multiple venues; feeding some of our top Candidates and their crew. We have served and planned eight fundraisers for different Political Parties at the same time. We have catered to Performers and Dignitaries and have been proud to serve our community and their families and friends.
Although Bethany and Clay are retired, Bethany still has her pulse on the company’s events.

Hi, I’m Caila!

I am the bookkeeper for Maple Street Catering and Big Fatty’s BBQ. I’ve worked with a wide range of clients to streamline financial processes, and I take pride in building trusted relationships and keeping records accurate and easy to understand. I’m known for my detail-oriented approach and dependable, personalized support. When I’m not geeking out over a spreadsheet, I enjoy making people laugh, baking in my kitchen, and playing with my dogs.

My goal is to keep our clients informed throughout the entire billing process. Have questions? Give me a jingle!
